In order to stay Coronavirus free you will need to protect yourself and others by learning the preventive steps, and how to properly use equipment. Here are some helpful guidelines and links to reliable resources for information on staying healthy and preventing the spread of the virus.

  1. Staying home is the best way to prevent the spread of the virus
  2. If you must go out
    1. Practice social distancing by keeping six feet between you and other people
    2. Wear a mask to make sure you don’t spread the virus to someone else. People can have the virus, but not show any symptoms. The mask will help stop the spread from people who may not realize they are carrying Coronavirus. Here is a link to the World Health Organization’s information about masks
  3. Washing your hands is very important to staying healthy. Germs spread more and more when you don’t wash your hands and then continue to touch surfaces. There is a proper way to wash your hands. Check out this video.
  4. It is important to keep up your immunity. There are several ways to boost your immunity, including eating as healthy as you can, exercising, making sure you get a good night’s sleep, and avoiding smoking and alcohol. You should also take vitamin C, or another immunity-boosting vitamins or supplements.
